This place was worth every penny! The room was cozy and had everything we needed and more. The location was great, close to shops and pubs but still peaceful. The staff, Mike and Susie, were extremely welcoming and attentive, making us feel like special guests.
Breakfast delights: A wider variety of options would have made the breakfast even better.

I had an amazing stay at this lodge. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the hot tub was fantastic. The hosts were extremely helpful, welcoming, and friendly. They provided a quick rundown of all the facilities, including the hot tub and air conditioning. They even recommended some great places to eat, like an Indian takeaway that was absolutely amazing. The location was beautiful, with stunning scenery all around. I really appreciated the added extras they had waiting for us, like bread, milk, cakes, and sweets. They even went above and beyond by putting up decorations for my boyfriend's birthday. it felt like a home away from home, with everything taken care of and lots of attention to detail.
Nothing to fault.

The lodge provided a perfect Easter getaway. the hot tub was a real highlight, allowing me to relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the surrounding meadow and the stars at night. the hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to make my stay special. the added extras like bread, milk, and cakes made me feel right at home. the location was also ideal, close to shops and pubs but still providing a peaceful and quiet atmosphere.
The difficulty in finding taxis and their high cost. this issue was not the fault of the hosts and did not significantly impact my overall experience.

The limited availability and high cost of taxis in the area. Getting around was a bit of a challenge and ended up being quite expensive.
